Rykestrasse, Berlin

This project was enormous. This international couple from South Africa and San Francisco, who had lived in Berlin for over five years had been in rented, furnished accommodation and owned no furniture. They acquired this wonderful space, three apartments joined together, as an empty white shell.

I worked from the ground up intensively to bring the colour palette and wallpapers followed by the every single item of furniture, art, rug, light, vase and fitting.

The furniture was mostly sourced from online vintage sources such as Vintage, Pamono, Vinterior and local independent shops in and around Berlin. Other pieces were commissioned, or designed.
